We were thrilled to see our friends at Orchestra announce in April 2024 that they will be joining the team at Sharesies. Sharesies's acquisition of Orchestra is an exciting next step for the platform, and we're proud to have contributed to its growth journey.

Orchestra's early years

The idea for Orchestra first came to the team at Snowball Effect in 2019. As New Zealand's leading private equity platform, we had seen first-hand the need for an equity and investor relations platform to better manage investors and the companies we helped raise capital for - enter Orchestra.

Orchestra's platform evolution

What began as a share registry platform developed by Snowball Effect's team quickly evolved into a stand-alone company with a suite of features launched over the last few years.

In addition to a share registry, Orchestra's platform now also features:

  • Investor and company overview dashboards
  • Dividends distribution
  • Employee share schemes
  • Cap tables with dilution scenarios
  • Integration with the NZ Companies Office and ASIC
  • Shareholder communications portal
  • Secure document vault
  • Document signing features
  • Secondary share trading

Orchestra today

Orchestra's platform is trusted by thousands of companies and investors worldwide, with notable customers ranging from Les Mills and Parkable to MyHR and Forsyth Barr.

Here at Snowball Effect, we look forward to watching Orchestra continue to flourish as part of the Sharesies family.

Will Snowball Effect continue to use Orchestra?

For Snowball Effect and its investors, everything will operate as usual. We will continue to use Orchestra as our shareholder management tool, and to distribute shareholder communications. The same Orchestra team will also still be there to provide support should you need it.
